Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Formerly Victoria Terminus)

This station was planed by Frederick William Staven who was an architect in 1887 to 1888.It took 10 years to build it. This station was named after Queen Victoria, because she did good jobs as a queen.









In 1996, the station was changed the name by Shiv Sena’s wish. Shiv Sena is a famous political party of India.This station is called Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus now.It is named after a king of Maratha in 17th century.On 2 July 2004, the station was nominated a World Heritage Site as a historical building.





Now,This station was used by more than 300,000 passengers in a day.
