Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Formerly Victoria Terminus)

This station was planed by Frederick William Staven who was an architect in 1887 to 1888.It took 10 years to build it. This station was named after Queen Victoria, because she did good jobs as a queen.









In 1996, the station was changed the name by Shiv Sena’s wish. Shiv Sena is a famous political party of India.This station is called Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus now.It is named after a king of Maratha in 17th century.On 2 July 2004, the station was nominated a World Heritage Site as a historical building.





Now,This station was used by more than 300,000 passengers in a day.

Hello, everyone. We are going to talk about Disneyland in Florida. Have you ever been there? We have never been there, but we try to introduce. Walt Disney wanted to construct an amusement park. He only knew parks for children, and adults had nothing to do while children played. For ideas he looked at an amusement park that was founded in Auckland, California in 1950 and Denmark in 1843. According to His first plan, the purpose of the amusement park is an entertainment facility for employees of Disney company. But after World War Ⅱ, he tried to broadcast a TV program about Disneyland. So many Americans was interested in Disneyland.

The amusement park was opened in July 17, 1995. There are only 11kinds of attractions then. But Number of visitor was more than 55000, and visitors were more than 4 million!!! After that, visitor were increased, and 1965 was 10th anniversary. And many attractions were added. 2005 was 50th anniversary. So it was celebrated on a large scale.
